"Living Food For Real Life"

Why Go Raw?

So, why would you want to go Raw?  And what exactly is a Raw Diet anyway?

A Raw Vegan Diet contains no animal flesh, dairy, or processed products which are harmful to the body and its digestive system.  This diet consists of organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds that are made into fantastic drinks, snacks, entrées, and desserts.
In a Raw Diet no food is ever heated above 110 degrees.  When we cook, the nutrition in our food is lost or so badly damaged that it no longer can provide proper sustenance to our bodies.  Ever crave something "sweet" or "extra" after a meal?  This is your body saying "I'm full, but not satisfied."  When we consume raw, living foods, our bodies are able to absorb all the nutrition that food offers, which in turn, helps us to eat less and put less stress on our digestive systems.  This allows our bodies the energy to heal from illness and disease, and to perform optimally.

Raw Foods vs Cooked Foods

Nutrient destruction is around 80% in cooked food.

Cooking destroys most nutritive fats.

In proteins that have been cooked, only 50% are bioavailable.

Cooking disrupts mineral absorption.

Cooking carbohydrate rich foods can create a carcinogen that causes tumors and damage to the central nervous system.

By consuming raw & living foods, your body is able to achieve complete nutrition and eat up to 50% less to do so.
